Air cargo connectivity across Eurasia continues to accelerate as airlines expand international networks and Central Asian operators strengthen their role in intercontinental logistics flows.
China added 21 new international cargo routes in April, including 12 Europe-bound services,
expanding weekly freight capacity and reinforcing Asia–Europe air logistics connectivity amid rising market demand and ongoing geopolitical disruption. At the same time, Uzbekistan’s My Freighter became the largest cargo airline operating in the Czech Republic, highlighting the growing importance of Central Asian carriers in China–Europe multimodal supply chains.

China Expands International Air Cargo Network
China continued expanding its international air cargo network in April 2026, adding new overseas freight connections amid growing demand for cross-border logistics and shifting global cargo flows.

Dan Air to launch flights to Armenia and Georgia
Romanian carrier Dan Air will launch direct regular passenger flights ex Bucharest, Romania to Yerevan, Armenia and Tbilisi, Georgia VV from 1 July 2026.
All flights will operate twice weekly using Airbus A320 equipment
The airline has also applied for traffic rights to launch Bucharest–Baku services
Expansion strengthens air connectivity between Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus
Asman Airlines is set to launch flights to Uzbekistan
Kyrgyz carrier Asman Airlines will launch direct regular passenger flights ex Tamchi, Kyrgyzstan to Tashkent, Uzbekistan VV from 24 June 2026.
The airline plans further expansion with Osh–Tashkent and Karakol–Tashkent services
Direct Bishkek–Tashkent flights are also under consideration
All flights are expected to be operated using De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft

My Freighter became the largest cargo airline in Czech Republic
Uzbek cargo carrier My Freighter became the largest air cargo operator in the Czech Republic in 2025, strengthening its position in the China–Europe air logistics market.
The airline handled 11,000 tons of cargo through Ostrava Airport during 2025
Cargo volumes exceeded DHL by two times and UPS by eight times at the same gateway
Ostrava serves as My Freighter’s main multimodal logistics hub in Europe
Operations support cargo consolidation and door-to-door distribution between China, Europe and Central Asia
